HAZEL and Martin Hole got the suite smell of success thanks to their generosity.

The Taunton couple are the lucky winners from thousands of customers at a furniture chain who helped raise £2 million over the past three years for BBC Children in Need.

They are sitting pretty after taking home two brand new sofas and matching armchair worth more than £2,000 for free in DFS's monthly Give Me Five competition.

Hazel and Martin were entered into a prize draw to have the bill for their order torn up after they donated £5 to the cause.

Hazel said: "I was completely shocked as we never win anything.

"There were quite a few choices we liked but decided to go for the Castello range and I’m delighted with our choice.

"It took some time to sink in that we didn’t have to pay a penny for our pair of fabulous new sofas and comfy armchair."

Marc Withers, DFS Taunton store manager added: "We’re delighted that we’ve been able to give something back to Martin and Hazel in return for helping DFS raise money for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

"Our partnership with BBC Children in Need is important to us because the money we raise is distributed to local projects across the UK, which make a significant difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people, many of whom live within the local communities of our stores."
