POLICE have released more details about a Taunton man on the run.

Wiltshire Police have renewed their appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of David Woolridge, aged 21.

He had been remanded in custody in Melksham, to appear at court in relation to drug offences.

He was taken to Bath Royal United Hospital on Friday night as a medical precaution, but ran away from officers when he was leaving the A&E department.

He was reported heading in the direction of Coombe Park at approximately 5.40am on Saturday.

A force spokesman said today (MOnday): "We now believe Woolridge boarded a train from Bath Spa train station on Saturday morning, heading through Chippenham and onwards to London."

He is described as having white but tanned skin, is approximately 5ft 7in tall with straight black shoulder length hair which is dyed brassy on the ends.

He was last seen wearing a beige long sleeve top and skinny jeans, and has a number of tattoos including a black butterfly on his spine and a coloured tattoo on his left palm resembling a butterfly.

Woolridge is not described as violent.

Officers are continuing with their enquiries to locate Woolridge and are urging members of the public who may see him, or anyone who knows any information regarding his whereabouts, to call your local police force on 101.
