A MAN is being hunted after he mugged a woman as she walked home from work in Taunton.
Police say the woman was walking on a footpath towards Lynor Close in Taunton at around 7.30pm on November 13 when a man grabbed her arm, pulled her handbag away from her and ran away.
The woman was unharmed during the incident.
It is believed the woman's handbag contained a mobile phone, a small amount of cash and medication.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said an investigation has been launched into the incident.
"We would urge anyone with information about what happened to get in touch and urge residents to be careful when walking around the area.
"An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
"If you have any information about the incident call us on 101 and quote crime reference number 5217260218."
