Vehicle sheds its hay all over the road on the A358 near Ashill
THERE have been delays along the A358 near Folly Drove at Ashill this afternoon after a vehicle shed its load of hay all over the carriageway.
The incident, which happened at around 2.30pm, left the road blocked in both directions with traffic queueing in the area.
Recovery of the hay between Folly Drive and the A303/B3168 Station Road at Southfields Roundabout, meant there has been congestion on the A358 Bickenhall Lane at Hatch Beauchamp.
However at 5pm Travel Somerset confirmed that the A358 appeared to have been cleared and delays were easing in the area.
