A LAMBING fun day has been cancelled as bad weather conditions are set to hit Somerset.
The fun day, which was organised by Bridgwater and Taunton College, was due to take place at Rodway Farm in Cannington tomorrow (March 18) but organisers have cancelled the event as they are concerned about the weather.
Rain and snow is forecast today (March 17) and an amber weather warning for snow and ice is in place for Sunday – from 12am until 11.55pm.

In a post on their Facebook page, a spokesman for Bridgwater and Taunton College, said: "Unfortunately we are extremely sorry to have to say that we have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow's Lambing Fun Day.
"The recent weather conditions, paired with the updated weather warnings for tonight and tomorrow are cause for concern. Any pre-purchased tickets will be refunded.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards Bridgwater & Taunton College and Rodway Farm. "
