POLICE have arrested a 50-year-old woman in a raid on a suspected cannabis factory in Somerton yesterday (Tuesday).

She is being quizzed by officers on suspicion of the production of a Class B drug.

They say they found 40 cannabis plants in a large wooden garden shed and a further 20 plants in the garage attached to the property.

PC Tim Rust said: “Yesterday's find is very positive for the community, we estimate the plants have a street value of £30,000.

"We’re grateful to the public for providing intel about criminal activity – even small details will add to our intelligence picture and can be the final link, enabling us to take action.
