TAUNTON law firm Foot Anstey has received a glowing review in the Chambers directory.

Twenty lawyers are described as “leaders in their field”, with others “up and coming” or ones “to watch”.

Its family team makes the top rankings, while clinical negligence partner Andrew Hannam is “one of the best”, IT partner Edmund Probert is “thorough and responsive”, partner Bruce Holt has “an exceptional knowledge of agricultural law” and property litigator Richard Bagwell “steps into the client’s way of thinking”.

Of the firm’s media and defamation team, Tony Jaffa is “a brilliant lawyer” and Cathryn Smith “amazingly creative”.

The employment team is “stellar” and team leader Patrick Howarth “always delivers”.

Foot Anstey’s dispute resolution team, led by David Turner, is a “huge regional player”.
