TIME is running out to vote in the Community Policing Awards for Avon and Somerset.
The awards recognise the contribution of neighbourhood beat managers, Police Community Support Officers, Special Constables and neighbourhood teams to their communities.
Hosted by Avon and Somerset Police Authority and Avon and Somerset Constabulary, they will honour employees who continually go the extra mile to help reduce crime and improve the quality of life in the neighbourhoods they serve.
So far nearly 130 nominations have been submitted, with the deadline Sunday, November 30.
Assistant Chief Constable Rod Hansen said: "These awards are about recognising the real difference that members of our neighbourhood teams are making to our communities on a daily basis.
"The response from the public so far has been excellent but there is still time to vote for an individual or a team who you think deserves recognition.”
To nominate someone, either click on the link or collect a nomination form from the front office of any police station across the force area.
