War reporter Kate Adie in Taunton

Comments (0)BBC war correspondent Kate Adie was guest speaker at the latest John Rae lecture at Taunton School.
She spoke about journalism and her experiences in war zones.
She dismissed suggestions that she enjoys danger, explaining that journalists are simply passive observers motivated by a desire for truth rather than any adrenaline rush.
A handful of students had dinner with Miss Adie, who confessed to a poor record at school.
