Top marks for water company

WESSEX Water has been named as the best performing water and sewerage company by regulator Ofwat.

The company was given its highest score in a report by Ofwat which analyses the service and delivery performance of water companies.

The report measured Wessex Water's sewerage, water and environmental services and customer service.

Chairman Colin Skellett said: “Over recent years Wessex Water has been the most consistent top performing water and sewerage company.

“This has been achieved through the dedication and innovation of our staff who are committed to providing a service that exceeds customer expectation.”
