IT WAS a step into the unknown for these Queen’s College pupils as they took a trip to London to visit the Houses of Parliament.

The tour, organised by Taunton Deane MP Jeremy Browne, started off at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office with the children experiencing a behind the scenes look.

They were then taken to Westminster Hall and stood on plaques of many royals and statesmen who have given speeches there, including The Queen, Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama.
