Taunton Deane MP Jeremy Browne visits Frank’s Café

TAUNTON Deane MP Jeremy Browne tried his hand at table tennis when he visited Frank’s Café in Bishop’s Hull.

The café is one of the activities trustees put on at the centre, which has just won a lottery grant.

Mr Browne, who opened the centre four years ago, said: “It’s great to see how far it’s come on since then.

“I was pleased to hear the centre has just been given a further lottery grant so that the garden can be made suitable for various events.”

Cllr Justine Baker said: “I was delighted to see so many people using the facility and having the chance to find out how important it is to them.

“Any area would be thrilled to have such a facility on its doorstep, so I’m keen, along with the trustees, to make sure it continues to be used fully.”
