A BUSINESSMAN from Langport is due in court this morning (July 12) charged with six counts of fraud.

James McCormick, 55, is due before City of London Magistrates' Court after charges against him were brought by Avon and Somerset Police.

This charging decision follows a complex international investigation led by the force into the supply and sale of bomb-detecting devices.

Mr McCormick was arrested at the start of 2010 when he was a director of ATSC, a company run from a former dairy in Sparkford, near Yeovil.
