SUPERMARKET workers from the town centre branch of Sainsbury’s visited a Taunton primary school to help pupils with a morning bake sale.

Lynda Faulkner (pictured with pupils), Dawn Summerhayes and Mandy Townsend visited Trinity Primary School to share icing and decorating techniques with 70 children.

Along with cakes children brought in, these were all sold to raise money for the Besom charity, which helps disadvantaged people make a new start in their lives.

Children from Years 5 and 6 at Trinity had a visit from the charity as part of their RE topic, ‘Barriers and Bridges’.

The bake sale raised £121 for the charity.
