Plea to find missing Staple Fitzpaine tortoise
A WOMAN is desperate to being re-united with her tortoise after it went missing from her garden in Staple Fitzpaine.
Ruth King says her Hermanns tortoise, Tolly (pictured), went missing on July 25 from his secure garden area.
She said: "I am absolutely devastated, and not knowing where he is or what has happened to him is unbearable. I desperately need to be reunited with him.
"He is still only a young tortoise, approximately five inches long with slightly raised scutes (a slightly bumpy shell as opposed to a totally smooth shell).
"If anyone has any information at all please help."
