Everyone blames the flipping road. The road is not dangerous just people with no talent for high speed driving. Your not taught overtaking p, I have come across good experienced driving instructors who can't overtake properly. Two issues one is speed element and you can't been seen to exceed limits although 8 out 10 drivers will so why the fuss. Second issue is the road craft system of overtaking involves being on the opposing carriage way for a lot longer than most drivers are comfortable with without training and practice.
