ORGANISERS and volunteers from the South-West were praised this week for their efforts at the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer.

Tributes were paid by Minister for Sport and Tourism Hugh Robertson at the South-West 2012 Games Legacy Conference at Somerset College, Taunton.

Mr Robertson is pictured with Lady Chobham, chairman of VisitEngland.

Yes, well done all you proles...
This olympic malarkey was a marvellous success...my friends and I ended up with £billions more in the bank (which is great because we own the banks as well) and we are not going to pay a penny in tax....not only that, but the olympics also provided a marvellous distraction from the austerity programme being rained down on you all by our government of fellow old Etonian millionaires!! We should do this every year!!!

What a laugh getting you lot to pay my mate who runs G4S £millions to provide the security for the olmypics before trousering the cash and then getting the army to do the work.....which you lot pay for again...brilliant
