£50,000 for Wellington Youth Centre

Wellington Youth Centre.
WELLINGTON Youth Centre, which was once facing closure, could soon be used as a community pre-school.
A grant of £50,000 has been awarded to the Mantle Street base after an application to Somerset County Council from Cllr Andrew Govier, who has been instrumental in keeping it running.
David Huxtable, responsible for setting up the Community Enablement Fund, said: “Its creation has allowed us to support communities and organisations at a local level.”
