A FATHER from Wellington is dusting off his trainers to tackle the Bath Half-Marathon in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust after his son was diagnosed with leukaemia.

Paul Musgrove, 57, will take on the challenge on Sunday, March 3 for the second time to help his 22-year-old son, Ed, who is receiving treatment from the charity’s specialists.

Paul said: “We’re convinced that the specialist room Teenage Cancer Trust helped to build and fund has a lot to do with the great strides Ed’s making in beating the disease.”

Money raised from the run will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust’s South-West appeal and help sufferers in the region.
