WELLINGTON School’s head boy will feature in some prestigious choral concerts over the festive period.

Over the summer, Will Hester took part in an Eton Choral Course at Malvern College, and as a result he was asked to join the Rodolfus Choir – an outstanding London based choir for young people, directed by Ralph Allwood, a former director of music at Eton College.

Will is set to sing tenor with the choir between Christmas and New Year, and part of the programme is an evensong live broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on New Year’s Eve at 3.30pm from St Gabriel’s Church, Pimlico.

Will is also taking part in several other concerts with the choir over the post-Christmas period, including concerts at St Martin in the Fields on December 30 and Douai Abbey, near Reading, on January 1.
