A YEAR 6 pupil from Wellington Prep School, will be climbing Mount Snowdon this weekend (Saturday, May 30) in aid of Children with Cancer UK.
Zach Hill, decided to take on the highest mountain in England and Wales after researching various charities for a school project.
So far he has raised £1850 from his Just Giving webpage and is just shy of his target of £2000
As a keen climber, who has represented the South West in national climbing competitions, Zach wanted to put his passion to good use and will be climbing Snowdon the hard way, via Lliwedd ridge and descending Crib Goch.
Not to be outdone, his sister Hannah, aged eight, will be joining him on the climb and has been raising money from kind donations from her fellow pupils at Buckland St Mary Primary School.”
