THERE'S a new banner at St John's Primary School, Wellington.
The banner was unveiled at the harvest festival service in the nearby church.
Head boy Ethan Whale and head girl Ula Malinowska led the school with the banner, which was made and designed using batik.
It represents the tree of life and the school's surroundings in Wellington, with the cross embedded in its heart.
A school spokeswoman said: "The last one was designed over 30 years ago, so this is the design for our school today."
