A CHARITY concert at Nynehead Court near Wellington raised £250 for the Nynehead Memorial Hall.
The chairman of the hall visited Nynehead Court last week to accept a cheque from the home, following their charity concert in September.
There was entertainment from Wellington School musicians, the John Paul Jazz Trio, Taunton Deane Morris Men, and Malcolm the Magician.
It was held to support Nynehead Memorial Hall and Nynehead Church.
The hall’s chairman Gary Sparks accepted a cheque for £250 from Alyson Martin, director of Nynehead Care Ltd and Angela Watkins, manager of Nynehead Court. Home manager Angela Watkins said: “We are delighted that our concert has been able to support local facilities. We are currently planning a Christmas event at Nynehead Court and hope to share the details soon.”
