CHILDREN in Wellington were busy taking part in fun activities over half term.
Events included an autumn family fun day at Cades Farm play area, with activities for all ages, fire and rescue officers offering free home fire safety visits, Tone Leisure giving free health checks and a barbecue provided by local councillors Andrew Govier and Vivienne Stock-Williams.
People in Quantock Road participated in a clean-up afternoon, clearing rubbish from the homes and gardens.
And there was a Hallowe’en pumpkin trail and ghost walk at Wellington cricket pavilion attended by more than 80 people.
The week was organised by Taunton Deane Council’s housing staff in partnership with other organisations, including getset, Knightstone Housing Association, police, the fire and rescue service, Tone Leisure, Somerset Skills and Learning, and the Wellington One Team.
