Fire crews called to immersion heater fire in Wellington
FIREFIGHTERS were called out after smoke alarms were heard in a property in Kelway Road, Wellington, in the early hours of this monring (Friday, March 18).
Crews discovered there had been a small fire that was out by the time they arrived.
They isolated the electric panel and immersion heater switch.
There was slight damage to the immersion heater insulation.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
