A WELLINGTON-BASED charity is preparing exciting plans for National Dementia Awareness Week 2016, including a World Record attempt.
The team at Reminiscence Learning have a week of free activities planned.
The first is a dementia awareness talk be- ing held on Monday May 16 1pm - 4pm and Tuesday May 17 6pm - 9pm - both talks are being held at The Counting House, Welling- ton.
On Tuesday May 17, 2pm-4pm there will be a film afternoon- Some Like it Hot, at The Counting House, Wellington.
On Wednesday May 18, 2pm-4pm, at The Counting House, Wellington, there will be a music and memories event. Enjoy an after - noon of interactive multisensory musical ex- perience.
Go along to the tea dance on Thursday May 19, 2pm-4pm at The Counting House, Wellington.
Reminiscence Learning mascot Archie will be having a red and yellow day on Friday, May 20. Could your organisation dress up, sell cakes or do a raffle to help raise funds for the Archie Project?
Finally, on Sunday, May 22, there will be a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest gathering of people dressed as scarecrows at Vi- vary Park in Taunton. It will be a free fun day for all the family.
