LAUREN Kerslake, a Year 10 pupil at Wellington School, has been selected to play at the Royal International Air Tattoo after attending a music camp at RAF Cranwell.

Lauren plays the clarinet in the school’s Corps of Drums.

She enjoyed plenty of sport and other activities during the camp and was even allowed to take the controls of a King Air -- the newest training aircraft in the RAF.

The tattoo will be held in London in October when London Mayor Boris Johnson will be among the guests.
