A JUBILEE-themed swimathon held at Wellington Junior School raised a whopping £3,000 for charity.

The imagination capturing event raised much-needed cash for Save our Soldiers and the Sierra Leona Community Cellar Project.

Hardy pupils and staff almost doubled their target of 60 miles as they splashed up an incredible 118.

Pictured are head teacher Adam Gibson and the pupils who completed the final length.
