Ruby's diamond win at West Buckland Dog Show

DOGS of all shapes and sizes and owners of all ages battled the rain at the West Buckland Dog Show to support the village's pre-school, which organised the event.

The show, which was held on the village playing field, saw over 50 dogs taking part in both the pedigree and novelty classes, all judged by Jan Shuttleworth.

Children were not deterred by the rain and enjoyed a dog fancy dress class and fun and games on the field. They also took part in the craft activities that were held in the hall along with face painting, glitter tattoos and nail art.
