Barbecue and drinks help Waterrow's ailing chimneys
RESIDENTS of Waterrow near Wiveliscombe came together for sun, barbecue and drinks... as well as a good cause.
Almost £350 was raised by villagers to repair ailing chimneys at the village hall in an attempt to bring it up to speed with a brand new summerhouse.
The delightful house was inaugurated, along with a garden and paved area, while the delicious smell of barbecued chicken and burgers greeted all who came to enjoy the feast. Fresh strawberries, mousse, gateaux, ice cream and other delicacies were available.
