Public meeting to discuss Williton flooding

The centre of Williton during the worst of the flooding in November.

The water infiltrated homes and businesses, causing a huge amount of damage.

A PUBLIC meeting is being held tomorrow (January 24) to discuss the impact of last year’s flooding on the village.

Representatives from the Environment Agency, West Somerset Council and Somerset County Council will be at the meeting, which starts at 7pm at Williton District Council Chamber in Killick Way.

Williton Parish Council is appealing for members of the public to bring photographic evidence and their own stories from the November floods.
