TWO people were taken to hospital this morning following a road traffic collision at Bircham Road in Alcombe, Minehead.
Police, the fire service and ambulance staff all attended the scene after receiving the call just after 8.30am this morning.
Three cars were involved and the road was blocked for some time.
One of the vehicles was issuing smoke when a fire appliance from Minehead attended.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We attended the incident at 8.31am this morning.
"People were treated but for minor injuries."
