A NURSERY pupil from Acorns Nursery at West Somerset College was thrilled after completing a national reading challenge during the summer holidays.
Harry Stone, three, took part in the annual event, which this year had the theme of ‘Mythical Maze’.
It challenges children to read six or more books from their local library, and in return for each book youngsters receive a sticker for their ‘Mythical Maze’ poster.
Once they complete the challenge their school is informed.
Harry was awarded a certificate and medal by nursery manager Julie Lindley for completing the challenge.
She said: “We’re very proud of Harry – it’s fantastic for such a young child to be involved in a reading challenge and to actually see him complete it.
