THE Royal British Legion in Minehead is holding a remembrance service at the Alcombe Memorial in Manor Road at midday this Sunday, November 9, to remember the fallen of the two world wars.
The service will be followed by the Remembrance Sunday Parade, which begins at 2.30pm at the Royal British Legion in Bancks Street, Minehead.
There will also be a church service at The Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Minehead, at 3pm.
After the service there will be limited transport from outside the church to the war memorial at North Hill for those Legion members who are unable to walk the distance.
People are also welcome to take their own vehicles and park close to the war memorial.
Afterwards, the party will return to the branch HQ in Bancks Street.
