FIRE crews from Minehead, Porlock and Lynton were sent to a road traffic collision at Porlock Hill last night at 5.28pm.
Initial reports suggested that there was someone trapped in an overturned van.
When crews arrived they found one person out and no one trapped.
Western Power were requested to attend as an electricity pole had been struck.
Crews got to work with an environmental pack and requested highways to attend to clear the road.
Crews used cutting equipment to gain access to the battery compartment and made the vehicle safe.
