ALL Saints First School in Dulverton has developed a solid plan of action in response to last September’s Ofsted inspection.

A report from the inspectors said the school “required improvement” with six areas of development identified.

Now the school has sent a letter home to parents with a summary of the work they have undertaken to move the school forward.

Alison Appleyard, interim head at the school, said: “It’s a really exciting time for All Saints. Everything is going in the right direction.

“We have been monitoring the progress of the children and they have been making progress.

“We have some exciting projects underway at the school and we have some great extracurricular projects going on.

“It’s a joy to be working with these people and they are working really hard to improve the school.

“We’ve held parent forums and they have been really useful so yes everything is really looking up."
