WEST Somerset Council is offering groups or organisations the chance to help regenerate an area of the ancient port of Watchet.
They are looking for groups or organisations who have plans to regenerate and develop the area by taking on the East Quay in Watchet, by either buying it or renting it.
Leader of the Council, Cllr Tim Taylor, said: “West Somerset Council is committed to developing the East Quay in Watchet to provide facilities which are visually attractive, economically viable and welcoming to visitors.
“Watchet is a very special place and West Somerset Council wants the development on the East Quay to be very special indeed.”
Anyone who is interested in the project can request an application pack by emailing to kjgilligan@westsomerset.gov.uk .
Completed application packs must be submitted by 12 noon on January 30, 2015.
