Watchet Mother's Club raises £1,240 for two charities
TWO children’s charities will benefit from the efforts of Watchet Mothers’ Club.
Members raised £1,240 at a Christmas Coffee Morning with proceeds split between the Children’s Hospice South West and Home-Start West Somerset.
Each charity received a cheque for £620. The hospice will soon be celebrating 20 years since the Little Bridge House opened in Barnstaple, Devon.
During that time the charity has supported terminally-ill children as well as giving support and respite to their parents and siblings. Home-Start supports local families with children under five.
Their volunteers visit families to give moral and practical support.
