Seed swap in Minehead
GARDENING enthusiasts are expected to take advantage of the perennial Seed Swap later this month in Minehead.
The Transition Minehead and Alcombe group, in partnership with Forum 21 and LETS, will be holding the event at the Methodist Church Hall in The Avenue, Minehead, on Saturday, February 28, from 10am to noon.
As in the past, free Heritage seeds will be available, but the soaring popularity of the seeds which are grown and saved by volunteers and distributed by Garden Organic, the national organic gardening charity, has meant there will be a limited supply this year.
There will be an entry charge to the Swap of 50p for adults with under-18s free.
