A TEENAGE boy was assaulted by an adult male in Minehead on Friday night (February 20).
About 9.30pm, the 14-year-old victim was walking along Parkhouse Road, passing the entrance to Parks Walk when he was approached by a man.
The man, who was described as smelling of tobacco and alcohol, grabbed hold of the victim and tried to pull him off the footpath after a brief conversation.
The victim retaliated and then ran home.
The offender was said to be Caucasian with a tanned complexion, between 5’8 and 5’10, and dressed in a black hoody and black trousers.
