A VALUABLE oil painting by Anne Cotterill was stolen in Minehead last month.

Police have released images of two people they would like to speak to in connection with the theft.

The paining entitled "Wild Roses" was stolen from Friday Street at around 1.40pm on Thursday, June 18. 

Officers would like to speak to two people who may have information that can help our inquiries.

They are described as:

  • A white man, 6ft, approximately 50-years-old, of slim build with short blonde hair.
  • A woman, 5ft 5ins, approximately 45-years-old, of medium build with long black hair.

Police would like anyone who recognises them, sees the painting for sale or has any information about the incident to contact them.
