THREE people were taken to hospital today after a fire destroyed a home at Bears Meadow Lane in Kilve.
Fire crews are still battling the blaze after first being called at 10.34am.
Police were also called to the incident as it was feared that the area would need to be evacuated due to an oxygen cylinder inside the property.
Fire crews first noticed the cylinder at 11am and proceeded to withdraw to a safe area and repositioned jets to a defensive mode.
Crews used three main jets, three hose reel jets and four breathing apparatus sets.
Crews are continuing to damp down hotspots from outside.
