WITHYCOMBE architect Louise Crossman presented a £3,760 cheque to homeless charity Shelter after completing a 100 mile cycle ride.
Louise and her husband Steve took part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 cycle event on Sunday, August 2.
The ride started at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with participants riding through the capital into the Surrey countryside before heading back in London to finish on The Mall.
Mrs Crossman said: "Shelter plays an important role in helping to relieve distress and hardship among homeless people, and we are delighted to have been able to support their work in this way."
Her practice, Louise Crossman Architects, had raised the money for Shelter over the last two years through a scheme whereby a minimum donation of £40 is required for an initial consultation or for advice and the money is donated to charity.
Since 2008 the practice has raised nearly £10,000 for a range of charities including Friends of Somerset Churches and Chapels, Age UK Somerset, Clic Sargent and Somerset Coast Home Improvement.
