A PARADE of vintage World War II military vehicles will be on display at The Big Bank Holiday Adventure in Minehead.

The free event takes place on Saturday, August 29 from 10am-4pm and visitors will have a chance to learn about the hidden history of North Hill which will be opened to the public especially for this event.

There will be plenty to see and do; help clear out a World War II defensive trench in the Conservation Challenge, get active and explore the area on our mini-orienteering trails and sharpen up your survival skills with the bushcraft demonstrations.

National Park ranger Adam Vasey says: “We’ve had an extraordinary response to this year’s Big Adventures and we’ve just got two left. Don’t miss the Military Vehicle Convoy as it passes through Minehead about 10.30am then follow them up to North Hill for living history displays and loads of other fun family-friendly activities.”
