EXMOOR's only remaining carnival is set to bring fun, colour, action and noise into Porlock.
Porlock Carnival will see a whole host of activities taking place in the village when it takes place on Saturday, September 5 at 5pm.
Proceedings will be kicked off by a samba band, with the procession of floats led by the town crier setting off at about 5.30pm.
The local emergency services will be featuring in the parade alongside vintage vehicles, followed by the carnival queen and her attendants, the Wellington Majorettes, stilt-walkers, morris men and the marching band.
The whole village will be open for business and there will be a range of refreshments readily available.
All proceeds from the Carnival are used to support local charities and organisations, and to promote the Porlock area as a tourist destination.
