Chimney fire near Wheddon Cross
A CHIMNEY fire at a property near Wheddon Cross was extinguished by fire crews last night (September 15).
One fire engine from Minehead attended the fire at 9.26pm.
On arrival crews confirmed there was a chimney fire involving a woodburning stove.
Crews extinguished the fire using chimney gear, a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
They also removed the log burner to gain access.
