SWTICH-ON: Minehead will be full of festive cheer on Saturday, Demember 5th
THIS year's Christmas Light Switch On will be taking place on Saturday 5th December and will feature a host of festive fun for the community.
There will be events running from 12pm-5pm and will include fairground rides, Punch and Judy shows, donkey rides and carol singing.
There will also be charity stalls and a face-painting competition for the children which will be judged by the mayor at 3.30pm in Wellington Square.
The lights will be switched on by the Minehead First School choir, along with Father Christmas at 4.30pm.
