EXFORD First School students will be extra bright from now on, thanks to their new Hi-Visibility vests.

The vests were completely free and came from funding from the Avon and Somerset Police Community Trust.

All children will be easily identifiable when they are off site as they have the school name on them, and the school's application was supported by PCSO Katherine Williams.

Assistant head teacher Laura Weaver said: "With Exford being such a rural school, the vests are vital for any off-site visits including our regular visits to the village church.

I have attached a photo, adults are Assistant Headteacher Laura Weaver, PCSO Katherine Williams, then children left to right: Charlie Glover, Emily Illing, Roo Harding and Esme Floyd.
