CROWCOMBE Court is holding two exciting events this autumn.

The first is the Top Drawer Shopping event on Monday, October 10, which is in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

The hugely successful event in May raised over £1,600 for the RNLI – it sees a variety of high end but affordable exhibitors selling an eclectic range of items in the stunning Great Hall, Ballroom, Dining Room and Vaulted Undercroft of Crowcombe Court.

Entry is £2, there are light refreshments available to purchase, and there is ample free parking.

The other event is a three-night run of Tim Fitzhigham’s and Duncan Walsh Atkins’ award winning Flanders & Swann show "At the Drop of an Hippopotamus' on November 17, 18 and 19.

In support of the Sohana Research Fund and kindly sponsored by Clarke Wilmott - the event is guaranteed to be an excellent night out.

Guests are encouraged to wear suitable clothing such as stripy Blazers, black tie, smoking jackets, Edwardian costume etc.

The bar will be open from 7pm, 6.30pm on Saturday, during the interval and also after the performance until 11.30pm.

Tickets are £25 and include canapes in the interval.

Tickets are sold out for the 17 and 18 productions, but tickets are still available for Saturday 19, with the performance starting at 7pm.
