A CHARITY curry night at the Bengal Spice restaurant in Williton helped raise more than £400 for Stand Against Speed for Bethany.
The charity was set up by the family of Bethany Paige Adams, a Williton girl who was killed in a car crash in 2012 aged 17.
Bethany was a front seat passenger in a car being driven by a young man who had only recently passed his test, he lost control on a bend and crashed into a tree. Bethany took the full impact and died instantly.
All the money raised from fundraising events goes towards educating 16-25 year olds on a Choice & Consequence go karting course run by PC Dave Adams of Avon and Somerset Police.
The cost for each person is £30 which we pay for.
